Hi, I am Gabe Yates - A young film maker looking to pursue a career in the film industry.
Hi there, I'm Gabe, a student and a young; passionate videographer with a love for film, photography and storytelling. My approach is collaborative, I started my journey through photography eventually being inspired to create video by bringing the photos to life in a way that is both engaging and visually interesting. With a focus on creativity, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail, I'm committed to delivering videos that exceed your expectations. When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me Playing Football, watching film, writing or doing anything to do with the arts.
The Wizarding World
The Wizarding World has had a huge impact on my visual storytelling, with its themes of friendship and courage that characters have towards each other. I have also have family who have had the privilege of working on the franchise.
Christopher Nolan
A director who has inspired me greatly is a Christopher Nolan. His use of practical effects and attention to detail inspires me a lot. I have to say, my favourite Nolan film has to be Interstellar (An Honourable mention to Memento).
Stanley Kubrick
Another director that I just can not possibly leave out is Stanley Kubrick. Kubrick began his journey as a photographer for LOOK Magazine. A favourite Kubrick film of mine has to be The Shining.
